No. Total Metal Innovations Weld-On Rock Rings are designed to work only with steel wheels. They will not work with aluminum, alloy, or cast wheels due to welding compatibility and structural requirements.

Yes. Because these rock rings must be welded directly to your steel wheels, professional welding is highly recommended to ensure proper installation, strength, and safety.
If you are an experienced welder or fabricator, you can install these kits yourself. However, since a rock ring failure can cause dangerous situations, we recommend having a qualified professional handle the install.
No. Weld-on rock rings are intended for off-road use only and are not DOT-approved for highway or public road use. Check your local and state regulations before using rock ring-equipped wheels on the street.
Absolutely. All Total Metal Innovations rock ring kits are proudly designed, cut, and manufactured in the USA using high-quality American steel.
All of our rock rings are shipped in raw steel, giving you the freedom to paint, powder coat, or finish them however you want to match your rig’s style.
If you’re unsure what size rock ring kit to order, check the sidewall of your tire — the wheel size will be part of the tire size and will typically be listed as the last number. For example, if your tire says 37x12.50R17, the 17 indicates you need a 17-inch rock ring kit. Common sizes include 15, 16, 16.5, 17, and 20 inches. If you’re still not sure, reach out to us with a photo of your tire size, and we’ll help you figure it out.
Our Weld-On Rock Rings are cut to order and typically have a 7 to 10 business day lead time before shipping. As soon as your order ships, we will send you tracking information so you can follow your delivery. If you have a specific deadline, feel free to contact us before ordering to confirm current lead times.
